Our promise

Our members will always support one another and have developed a strong community

Mid Ulster Zone has expanded steadily since its founding in 1962 and now attracts members, young and old, from all religious, social and cultural background throughout  the whole of Mid Ulster. Our goal is to encourage participation in short mat bowls, and especially young talent, on both the local and national level while sharing our love of the sport.

Clubs in Mid Ulster  are always happy to welcome new members, whether they are beginners or advanced, and we invite anyone interested in short mat bowling to contact the Zone Convenor who will put you in contact with someone in the club of your choice. We particularly welcome youth who are essential to the continued existence of clubs and the development of the game.
